The contents of these documents cover the water- related aspects of the life, physical, and social sciences as well as related engineering and legal aspects of the characteristics, conservation, control, use, or management of water. Each abstract includes a full bibliographical citation and a set of descriptors or identifiers which are listed in the Water Resources Thesaurus. Each abstract entry is classified into ten fields and sixty groups similar to the water resources research categories established by the Com- mittee on Water Resources Research of the Federal Council for Science and Technology.
